## Career Opportunity: Safety Officer (Geothermal)
We are currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Safety Officer to reinforce our commitment to operational excellence. In this critical role, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance within our geothermal projects.
Core Responsibilities
To succeed in this position, you will be tasked with the following essential duties:
* Pre-Operational Planning: Prepare comprehensive Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Task Risk Assessment (TRA) documentation prior to the commencement of any site activities.
* Safety Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of work equipment, ensuring all certifications are valid and staff are equipped with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
* Permit Management: Draft, submit, and close out Permit to Work (PTW) documentation in accordance with project requirements.
* Hazard Mitigation: Perform H₂S gas measurements before operations begin to ensure a safe environment.
* Leadership and Training: Lead Pre-Job Safety Meetings (PJS), supervise daily work execution to ensure strict HSE compliance, and provide ongoing safety training for field personnel.
* Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all HSE field activities and compile performance reports to track safety metrics.
Professional Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess the technical aptitude and field experience required to manage safety in high-stakes environments:
1. Technical Expertise: Proficient in preparing JSA and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRADC) documents.
2. System Knowledge: Must understand and possess the capability to develop Pertamina PTW systems.
3. Industry Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Safety Officer within the oil and gas sector, particularly in oil well operations.
4. Certifications: Possession of a mandatory Oil & Gas HSE Certification and completion of SIKA training.
5. Specialized Knowledge: Demonstrated experience with H₂S gas measurement protocols. Prior involvement in Pertamina Geothermal Energy projects is considered a distinct advantage.
