# Career Opportunity: Secretariat and Technical Support for the Sustainable and Quality Tourism Development Program (SQTDP)
The Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) plays a pivotal role in shaping Indonesia’s future. Tasked with the essential responsibility of formulating national development policies to support the President’s governance agenda, the Ministry is currently seeking dynamic professionals to join the Directorate of Tourism, Creative Economy, and Digital Economy.
This recruitment initiative is specifically designed to bolster the Sustainable and Quality Tourism Development Program (SQTDP), a strategic partnership project conducted in collaboration with the World Bank.
## Position Overview
The Directorate is looking to hire two dedicated individuals to fill the role of Secretariat and Technical Support staff. This is a contract-based position (non-ASN) with a total engagement period of 10 months.
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be instrumental in ensuring the operational success of the SQTDP. Primary duties include:
* Operational Coordination: Facilitating administrative processes and ensuring seamless coordination across the program.
* Documentation and Technical Support: Assisting in the preparation, synthesis, and documentation of technical program materials.
* Compliance and Review: Supporting the quality assurance process for documents requiring a "No Objection Letter" (NOL) from the World Bank.
* Stakeholder Liaison: Acting as a bridge between the Directorate, the World Bank, relevant Ministries/Agencies, regional governments, and other essential stakeholders.
* Follow-up Management: Ensuring all feedback and specific requirements issued by the World Bank are addressed promptly.
## Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:
* Academic Background: Hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Urban and Regional Planning or Economics.
* Academic Performance: A minimum GPA of 3.00 is required (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
* English Proficiency: Candidates must provide proof of English fluency through one of the following:
* TOEFL ITP: Minimum 500
* TOEFL iBT: Minimum 80
* TOEFL Prediction: Minimum 500
* Professional Status: Must not currently be a civil servant (ASN), member of the TNI/Polri, and must not possess a government employee identification number (NIP).
Preferred Qualifications (Value Adds)
While not mandatory, the following experiences will strengthen an application:
* Relevant experience in organizations, research projects, or professional internships.
* Prior experience working or interning with Bappenas, the World Bank, or other international development institutions.
* Proven background in sectors such as tourism, development economics, regional planning, sustainable development, or public policy.
